Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
